• Each professions’ required CE hours are different. Nail technicians are required to complete 10 hours of CE. Cosmetologists: 14 hours of CE.

Yes, if you took CE classes WITH BOTANIC, we can assist with the online renewal process with the state at no additional cost. IL’s renewal fee is $51.18. Please have an email and credit/debit card ready to expedite service.

An email is required for BOTANIC to issue your certificate. IL (IDFPR) also requires an email to process renewals online. It is the preferred method of communication by IL for news, updates, reminders, and license retrieval.

This cannot be avoided. Please have someone help you CREATE and SAVE your email onto your phone/ipad/tablet before proceeding to use our service.

You may do so but YOU are responsible for all the answers you submit. Please be careful when entering your information! If YOU make a mistake, YOU must contact the state to have it corrected.

We highly recommend you do. Keeping your IL license active and renewed may help with out-of-state transfer in the future.

Licenses that are expired have higher renewal fees and it takes Illinois (IDFPR) a MINIMUM of 6 months to process. DO NOT let your license expire.
